N~8~Ball Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Hello all.. I'm getting ready to do a special build and I need some help finding the specific color I'm looking to use. I'm wanting to use the actual paint color of the 1:1 car. The car in question is a Chevy Malibu station wagon 1978 though 1981 body style. From what I remember The color is a metallic gold or light brown. I found the model of it at Parry's resin. Does anyone know of a web site that has general motors paint chips to view or paint codes I can compare to and find the correct paint I need?. If someone can guide me in the right direction please drop me a line. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks and take it easy guys. Nate V
MyBradKeselowski Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Nate, the metallic gold 4 that year u want is similiar in my opinion close 2 the Champagne metallic that was used on the 83-84 Malibu's, Monte Carlo's, Caprice's. I had a 84 Caprice in Champagne metallic was a pretty color. It may not be exactly like your wanting but I think it's close 2 a metallic gold.
