Farmer Wilding Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 It's built factory stock - except for the colour. The paint is a seventies Duplicolor Aussie Ford yellow called Pine'n'Lime. The interior is several shades of Humbrol browns and tans.
MrObsessive Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Super Sharp!! That color suits that body style well! Very nice and clean!
James Flowers Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 That is one sharp build. Color sets it off nicely.
torinobradley Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Great looking model!!! Of course, I am rather partial to Torinos.... I have a couple of this kit and am looking forward to playing with them.
oversteer Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Thats sweet!I love this car and the color choice is hot!
MyBradKeselowski Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 that is a nicely well built build great color choice 2
Raul_Perez Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I remember back in the mid-seventies when a good friend of mine had a red one of these with the 429 Cobra Jet engine. It could really scoot along!! Thanks for sharing,
ricky12 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 WOW GREAT LOOKING BUILD YOU GOT THERE. AND I THINK GREAT COLOR CHOICE .
DR Dubois Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Nice looking Torino!!! Love the colour even if it's not factory correct. Looks like it was meant to be this colour!
Harry P. Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I agree with the doctor... if that's not a factory color it should have been! Very clean build, looks fantastic. That's what rep stock is all about!
Farmer Wilding Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 Nice looking Torino!!! Love the colour even if it's not factory correct. Looks like it was meant to be this colour! It's a colour Ford Australia used on our Falcon hardtops (think Mad Max car) which were virtially a 7/8 scale Torino. I've done three others using Aussie Ford colours (a red GT and two Cobras in different shades of orange), with another two Cobras painted and ready to assemble (one purple, one green).
stevegt738 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Sweet build. I remember that colour well, my old man had a hardtop in that colour. Tan interior, 250 six with a slush box. Looked fast, went like a slug.
DR Dubois Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 (edited) If I remember correctly, good friend of mine had a station wagon Torino!? Same yellow too!!! Can't wait to see the others! Edited December 13, 2008 by DR Dubois

Farmer Wilding Posted December 14, 2008 Author Posted December 14, 2008 Man that thing is great! Looks like you could walk right up to it get in and drive it right off your desk You do very good work!! Thank you! I always try to make my models look as realistic as possible, but somehow this one seemed to have that little bit extra. I thought you guys would like to see it.
cotto Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I hear that there's a lot of fit issues with the engine on this kit, I have about five of these stashed away, would love to do one at some time. Did you have any issues while building this beauty? Great job.
Dave Wood Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Looks Great!! Petter.... Any Luck on the Tail lights your lookin for? Dave
