Foghorn Leghorn Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 This will likely be the last post on this WIP in awhile. So far, i got it apart, stripped the paint, ground out the side & rear windows, got the side window openings to where they need to be, and that's about it. It was built with NOTOX glue and it gives off an amusing smell when grinding on it. Would kinda like to hang the hood and fenders but need to get the windshield wipers off first. Tried carving them off with a sharp knife but the plastic is unusually hard. I have a 1/4" ball rotary file that's gonna get a shot at it next. Just don't want to take too much off ? Pretty sure that these are all correct Novacaine parts with the possible exception of the 'chute. 2
Daddyfink Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 I look forward to seeing this restoration. And yes, NOTOX, what a frustrating glue to use when you are kid with little patience! LOL!
