dino246gt Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Wow, so much coolness at the scale hot rod shop! 1
ea0863 Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Welcome back Bill! Looking forward to your builds, but feel free to drop in all kinds of engines into your cars - - - Chevy V8, Chrysler Turbine, Ferrari V12, Toyota 2JZ, Mazda Rotary... I promise, you'll get a lot of conversations going
ea0863 Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 (edited) Here's one with a Jag V-12... Edited October 28, 2022 by ea0863
ea0863 Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 After reading your post, I was inspired to look up all the body styles of '32 Fords I never knew about. Wow, what a fascinating topic! Now I'm inspired to try my hand at building some of these variations myself. I already have a Lindbergh pickup done (which came out pretty good, if I do say so myself), and now I only have 14 more to go! 1

At first I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew, I did get discouraged a couple if times, so I backed off and built something else. Slump busters work well. Luckily we have the internet as a resource. I did stray a bit from my initial mock-up on some of the styles but in the end I persevered on most.
Bullybeef Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 A little work on the body for the surf brick! Cleaning up the cut lines, gaps and making the windshield frame, lots of filing and sanding to come! Then we shall hopefully see some primer and see if I still have wood grain painting skills.
