Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 What's goin' on... Yesterday (12.19.08) I took the day off work to have some time for myself. (and a 3day week end WOO HOO) I went and pulled an incomplete project out of storage and finished it up. Some pieces were lost and a few things got broken but I did the best I could to finish it up!!! This is the Fred's Towing R/G W900 I built based on a truck that belonged to a since fallen flag trucking company Berta Bros. from Canon City,Colorado. Here's the truck I based it on. Still not sure which trailer I'm going to pair up w/ this... Thanks for looking!!!
crispy Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 That looks great! I really like those old Kenworth's. What about the three axle gravel trailer by AMT? Anyway, looks great, keep them coming! Chris
buba39 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 nice work may one day i will be worthy to hold your airbrush or sit next to the master
Old Albion Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Scott, The KW looks great. Have you fitted the 3408 Clatterpillar from the kit? I like how the paint work looks. As far as trailers are concerned how about a scratch build of the end dump in the photo? Having seen photo's of many of your projects this would be right up your street and well within your capabilities. What ever you decide to do, Good Luck and thanks for sharing the Kenworth with us. Best Wishes Dave Bates
Jim B Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Your KW looks very nice. I like the color combination.
Old Albion Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Scott, Just had a thought this would look great pulling that tandem axle Garbage or Scrap metal trailer you built a while back. Best Wishes Dave Bates

Best Wishes Dave Bates What's goin' on... Dave Thanks!!! That'll work perfect!!! At this time I keep my collection of kits and all my builds in a storage unit I seldom go to. That tipper (transfer trailer) is there and I forgot all about that. Come to think of it...that's one of my built trailers that doesn't have a truck for it.
