JordanFordF1
A quick build just for fun. I wasn't interest in this mainly due to it being a snap kit, but once I realized how detailed the kit was, I gave it a try. I also like that it came with both self stick and water slide decals. I used the water slides over the bare plastic body before coating with gloss clear. Everything else was painted. Kit has basic V8 engine representation. I couldn't find any reference photos to Lightning McQueen's engine color but then again if they showed his engine the movie would have been R-rated. I could have done better but I didn't build it for show, I built it for fun.
happy grumpy
Doc Hudson would be proud. A really good rendition of a beloved little car. For a snap kit of a fictional character , it has a lot of details.
stinkybritches
Well done. I have one of these in the stash. I'm just waiting for my son to get older so that we can build it together.
