1959 Cadillac Rear Bumper

I'm adding a bit of detail to a '59 Fleetwood. From pictures online, I can't tell if the area that surrounds the back up lights is black or a red lens. Can it be either based on trim level? 

Anyone know?

It's a round red lens.

You're very welcome, built one a couple years ago. It's a great kit but I didn't think I'd ever stop pulling parts out of the box.
