Fuel line placement

In an 80's pro stock would the fuel line run under the car to the back or would it run through the inside to the back. Thx in advance.

Underneath, no fuel in cabin.

Absolutely no fuel lines in the drivers compartment in any NHRA class, no holes in the firewall except for steering shaft, wiring harness and clutch and throttle mechanism and these holes had to sealed against fire as well with metal and or a bellows type seal. The trunk area also had to be completely sealed off from the interior with fireproof (read Metal) material if the fuel tank or cell was in the trunk.
