The cab subframes were somewhat sketchy(if I didn't have to tilt the cab to work on something , that was a good day). Every other brand was just as bad when they were getting rotted out, so I'm not just pickin on the heavy chevy's. Couldn't trust the hydraulics , always used a chain come along to let the cab over center. Those were the days , when I wasn't an old fat cripple.

I had a few White Road Expeditors that snapped the cast aluminum front cab mount/pivot when I tilted the cab for service,,not a good day
