lowering a model?

can you lower it? iknow on the movie it sits way to hight for my taste, im going to be doing this kit soon and just want to make sure i can do something with it. also im looking for a set of wantanabes for it, i have a few sets of wheels to trade, i have the two sets from the kit a 4X4 set(with suspension stuff) a set of ralleys as well(maybe some more illh ave to check) so if you have some youd like to trade get in tuoch jeffreysotheremail@yahoo.com

Lowering the rear would be done just as Dave said using blocks The front I believe could be done by simply raising the upper contol arm to the proper height with some extra plastic. and then modding the part of the lower contol arms that the spindle attaches to up to match and you can still use the stock spindles. Front spring would need to be cut too but thats easy. All Of this planning comes from my own 67 Mustang I'm working on and thats my plan to lower it a bit

yea im trying to find some Watanabe's for it, i think they would look awesome on these cars.eitehr those or some deep dish bbs's. thanks for the advice!

also i dint know if the kit came with the right engine(rb26dett) so i bought an extra one, does it come wiht it?

I'm not a fast and furious type guy I only bought my F&F 67 cause it was a Mustang lol the one above isn't the F&F version but is the same except the new parts. the F&F your getting does have a whole new engine in it along with the 289 whether its right or not I have no idea. I just know its there. Kit has 2 hoods stock and custom front seats new suspensions for the new version. Now on the 2 Suspension part I just dug mine out to see if it had any thing I could use in the above build and discovered it has a set of lowered front spindles Which I stoled lol at the height my car is sitting at now they are perfect... So ya may not have to go through all I said to lower the nose it may be able to sit how ya like out of the box

well iowuld be on this kit right now working away at it, butt rpp hobby didnt hold up there end of the deal. now i have $30+ missing off my card(needles to say im pissed) they charged my card then cancelled the order!
