RODOMOTIVE Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 I'd sure appreciate knowing if car bodies in 1967-1969 MPC car model kits were bagged or loose in the box? I have a number of MPC kits where the unplated parts are still factory sealed in a bag but the bodies are loose and not bagged. So, I'm wondering if this is how they originally came or were the bodies in fact originally in bags? Thanks, Jeff
Mark Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Chrome parts weren't bagged back then in MPC kits. The unplated parts (body and everything else) were bagged together, probably around 1968. The only kits with bodies separated from other parts would be the prepainted kits, 1971-73.
Mark Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 The kits with clear bodies would have had the body and other clear parts bagged separately from other unplated parts also.
