CB Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Nice job Mike. Like how you left the hubcap off the left front wheel. Is the blue interior a stock color? Man, that's a nice lookin little kit..........might just have to get me one

RodneyBad Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Great looking Bug. I love it that the hub cap fell off and it's sitting in the truck or Bonnet. Lil dab of silver on the lugnuts, you'd be good to go.
B-dub Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Great my best friend seen this and loved it.. I'm having to buld her a bug....Thanks Zukiholic for supplying me the kit!!! it's her dream 1:1 car that she is supposed to be getting for her 16th birthday (which I am lovingly willing to drive it the 3- 1/2 hours home for her...after driving the 3 1/2 hours to get to it...) uggh and to think she's an ex.. but I love her to death and we're working on things.. haha hopefully we find a decent bug closer to home... But anyways I like your bug build..lol she loved the hubcap being off, we thought it was a detail you did on purpose.. now hopefully she wont see this post and get onto me heh heh
Jordan White Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Love the Tamiya kits, always so detailed. I built this in red with white wheels, turned out great. Course I have a problem of when I try to move it around when dusting, the body shifts and the rear lid falls off. Probably should have tried to glue the body somehow.
Jordan White Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Bugs are great. Easy to work on, fun to drive. In fact my dad has a 1969 Baja Bug, it's awesome to drive especially off-road, and it has one of the best sounding 4-cylinders around.
