Tom Kren Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 (edited) Never mind I see it but what size aluminum tube do ya use for the shock? Again looks great and cool color! Edited March 1, 2009 by Tom Kren
plumnuts Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 unforgiven, the color is HOK dreamsicle. sorta looks like a orange popsicle.
plumnuts Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 Never mind I see it but what size aluminum tube do ya use for the shock? Again looks great and cool color! didn't use aluminum. the cylinder is plastic rod with a hole drilled in it. and the ram is straight pins used for himming clothing. hope this helps, dave gave the how too in this thread.
plumnuts Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 well the heavy chevy is done. over all I'm happy with the turnout. thanks Dave for the cylinder input, and also thanks to all the guys who pushed the chop top. and of cource a big thanks to the transparent orange over wood! I'll be using that one again. and I figured I would post on a couple closeups on some of the helpful tips I mentioned. well, now she is going under glass. so if you want to see all of her in her glory, I'll see you over there.
