got some color on the old chev. still need to clear, but will wait for the weather to clear up .

thought you might like to see the color choice.

Man this thing looks so kewl, you have done a great job Plumnuts, another fantastic build to go on the shelf, What kolor is that? It looks like a burnt orange on my computer, the whole thing is just way slick man.... ummm dont forget the fenderwells in the back.

Never mind I see it but what size aluminum tube do ya use for the shock? Again looks great and cool color!

didn't use aluminum. the cylinder is plastic rod with a hole drilled in it. and the ram is straight pins used for himming clothing. hope this helps, dave gave the how too in this thread.

well the heavy chevy is done. over all I'm happy with the turnout. thanks Dave for the cylinder input, and also thanks to all the guys who pushed the chop top. and of cource a big thanks to the transparent orange over wood! I'll be using that one again. and I figured I would post on a couple closeups on some of the helpful tips I mentioned.
