I bought this kit in November and got started right away, but several projects got in the way. Now I'm finally making progress. The color is candy yellow over white pearl. Too bad my lighting casts a yellow tint on everything, because this thing is really bright! A few more details to do and on to final assembly! Comments welcome, as always.

Nice lookin build there Ron. So organized too!

About your 'lighting'---might try putting your camera on 'manual' if'n you can, and see if'n you can find a symbol of a light bulb. That's for a 'filter' for use with incadescent bulbs and takes away that yeller/orange tint.

Lookin' forward to seein' more pix. :D

Thanks Dave! Here's today's progress. I played around with the lighting and the camera settings, so the pics might be off a bit. I haven't glued the roof on yet and I have some touch up to do. These old kits have some major fit issues. I also made some custom decals for the sides to reflect the school district I work for (my first try). I'll put those on tomorrow and then load up the chrome. Even with all the fit issues, this kit is fun to build. Enjoy! BTW, comments welcome, as always!

 Lookin' GOOD, Ron. One thing to see rods like this as a picture on the box,

but boy do they look so very, very cool in 3D, built up like that. :D

Yep, looks like you've been tryin' differnt things with your camera. Maybe part

of the 'yellowing' is simply coz there's a lot of yellow in the pictures!

One other suggestion, if'n I may: try using a plain white background. Hard to see

the body with the busy background. Prop up a sheet of posterboard--you can get

it just about anywhere, 22"x 28" and usually under a buck. It'll give ya a plain

background, making your model stand out better, and reflect a little light on the

'back' side of the model as well.

Keep up the good work
