That is a shame.

You did a great job with it. At least you have the pix, get another one and build it again.

Maybe some day it will find its way back home.

Sweet looking Nomad for sure! How did it end up going awol?

Doc,

Long story short .... A well known builder from CA. and I started building together for other people 's collections . He took my cars to shows on the West Coast , I showed his on the East Coast . We did this for years . He had some health issues . Starting with a hip replacement , one thing lead to another with the medication and he ended up having a breakdown.

It was a great friendship and an excellent partnership until all of this went down . He has 6 show cars of mine that were supposed to have been mailed back to me last April. I have 'nt heard from him since.

The cars are a minor thing , I just hope he is doing ok. He has'nt returned any of my calls nor responded to any of my emails . None of the boys from CA. have seen hide nor hair of him at the West Coast shows either . I miss him alot , he was a great guy to talk models with , for that matter , just about anything ! I'd like to think that he got everything straightened out , least ways , I hope so

As usual Beautiful build bro!! :)

Tha paint looks GREAT (big shock :) ) How do you get all your builds so perfect? (must be lacquers -_- )

J/K . I been studying ( and taking notes on ) the DVD and soon shall be closer to your level ;)

Laquers ? Did you say laquers ? The Old Goat would stroke out ! Hey Kid ! , that's why I put it out on the market . It can and will help anybody. Follow the steps , but most importantly , Be patient !

That's why I always recommend having several going at once , and having several prepped and ready for paint when the mood hits . Practice , practice , and more practice , Bri . Become a student of the game ! You don't think I got all this gray hair from my ex-wives , did ya ? :) It's called experience !

I figured that all you youngsters should benefit from my pain , suffering , and expense. Why should I make you go through what I did ? :) Keep rolling with it , Little Bro , The Old Man 's always here for ya ! ;) Thanks for the Kudos from everyone !, Much appreciated !

Aww Kid ! Now ya did it ! You mentioned the H word , the E word , and the L word all in the same sentence ! Next thing ya know , brimstone , fire , smoke , all that stuff is going be flyin' around ! :) The Tinman is going to come down from the tree house in Netherwood and you're going to get smited !

Of coarse , that all depends on how much Geritol is in the fuel tank ! Hey ! , I'll be tossing a pm your way over the weekend , need some info from ya ! Now be vewy , vewy quiet , I think I heard the Tinman creakin' about ! B)
