dino246gt Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 (edited) The kit windshield was a perfect fit for the opening, too bad there was no place to glue it! 1: I made my own windshield, slightly larger than the opening, and made A pillar covers and a top header to hold it in place. 2: I foiled the mirror face and painted the rest flat black, you can see my sun visors and A pillar covers. Interior is pretty complete, test fitted and now to glue it all together! Edited February 3, 2023 by dino246gt
dino246gt Posted February 5, 2023 Author Posted February 5, 2023 There's still a lot to do but just adding mirrors, lights, grille and bumpers does help a lot!
dino246gt Posted February 25, 2023 Author Posted February 25, 2023 I made up a few things for the tailgate, not the 3D printed suitcases, bought those online. Upper and lower parts glued open, added side bits, rubber weatherstrip, upper struts, lower folding arms and (straight pins) latches! Haven't finished up under the hood yet, otherwise it's almost ready for a road trip! 1
jaymcminn Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 Needs a dog for the tailgate. Otherwise it's perfect! 1
Butter 1 Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Hi Dennis. NIce clean work on the Land Rover. The LS engine looks great and your interior detail is very well done.
dino246gt Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 I made up a battery and tray, and power brakes and took it to the club meeting today:
