When you can't hook up to a hydrant, you set one of these up. The tankers dump a full tank of water in and take off leaving room for the next tanker in the relay.The pumpers then pull water out (known as drafting) from the dump tank for fighting the fire. The one we have on our pumper at my department is 9x9x3 when set up, holds quite a bit of water(and works great for initiating rookies LOL). Hope this helps. John, this looks real good so far.
