I've read a couple threads about bad experiences with casters/vendors and I appreciate the heads up but I wanted to start one about the really positive ones.

I recognize almost all of these are either really small ventures or side projects and done out of a passion for this hobby.

So...to start it off.

Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland. What else can be said about Norm? A must for early hot rod and Custom builds. Excellent quality,  good communication and tolerant of way too many questions as I whittled down my order to an amount I could justify. I could definitely spend an entire paycheck.

Forward Resin. Great quality, excellent communication and Casey was extremely helpful with a small order. His artillery wheels are amazing and I'm just bummed he didn't have enough demand to keep casting them.

Drag City Casting, Ed Fluck Jr. has some great pieces available and cool bodies that nobody else casts. Great man to deal with, when I first started before I left, my 1st resin was bought from his father,  who I'm sure is looking down rightfully proud.

VCG Resin by Reese. I've placed 2 small orders. Reasonable prices, fast shipping and excellent pieces. Josh has responded to questions about availability and it sounds like some cool pieces, engines are in the works. A really cool guy.

...and I know most of his stuff is for himself but I can't say enough about the louvered 32 hoods by @68shortfleet Jason Lookabill. Great man to deal with and really nice work.

I just got hoods from Jason Lookabill. He told me is open to selling to anyone that wants his stuff. And it is top notch!

Texas3D-his stuff has amazing detail and it comes off the supports. Amazing work.

Both these guys were great at communication and quick shipping

I've read great things about both, just haven't bought from yet. Bolide Plastics and his Ford Flat Head Speed Shop definitely has my interest.

VCG and Bolide Plastic Motor Works have now combined. I have had great experiences dealing with Josh, great communication and he's also making to order a pair of valve covers from one of his engine kits for me, which is cool since that's all I needed.  He mentioned that he's willing to make to order parts from the different engine kits, though he doesn't list them individually. Mainly a maintaining inventory issue being a small business.

Again, my respect to all of the individuals who are doing this business for the rest of us.

A big thank you to you all.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Kris and Angela Morgan and their Morgan Automotive Detail (MAD) line of products and Kevin Lutz of Missing Link resin. Both of them offer nicely mastered and immaculately casted items that rival kit pieces in quality as well as prompt shipping as well as great communication. They are also very personable people to deal with.
