GM Hickey hood.

I vaguely remember someone talking about possibly duplicating this hood in 3D resin for the 1/24 GM trucks some time back. Anything ever happen on this front?

I was not aware the "Hickey" hood had ever been done in kit form.

Now I want one too.

Yes, I was the one working on it. I even printed a few. The issue I had with them is that either my methods, my resin or my lack of skills with a printer ended with great printing hoods that warped like a Dorito chip. 

I just can't get them to print and stay flat. This is something I would like to revisit with a different resin, or different drying/curing technique. I may even need to redraw it or print it with beam type supports that keep the shape until it is fully cured. 

So, the answer is yes, I was working on it. No, it is not available yet due to issue with the printing side of things. 

I do know a guy, that knows the printing side of things way better than I ever will. When (if) he ever catches up with his current work load, I may have him give it a shot.

Well, I ordered the new/repop Blazer pull dozer. Maybe there will be more demand now and that will help me get it figured out.
