futile Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Model no. 2, The Dodge Doug (1:16), after my initial Jungle Jim gluebomb. Pretty sure I upped my game with this one. Some goofy setbacks, like spraying my seat with white primer when it was supposed to be clearcoat. In that last picture, the only way I could put a straight decal onto a curved surface was by cutting out each letter individually. This beginner was also kinda proud in being able to glue the pesky brake housings together without sticking to the brake drum, so that the wheels could still roll freely. (That's lighting glare, btw, on that goofy left wingtop) 1
Bainford Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Nice work. This can be a finicky kit, but you have done a great job of putting it together. It's a bold looking machine. Very cool! 1
