Len Woodruff Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 I just used their 2K clear and was think of trying these compounds. I usally use 3m Finness-It or Mequires Scratch X. Any feed back would be greatly apppreciated.
Dpate Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Didn't know they had a compound? I always use Mequiar's ultimate compound, and wax. I can't find anything on google about it - do you got any links or anything?
Len Woodruff Posted April 18, 2023 Author Posted April 18, 2023 Dusty I have had these a long time. I checked their website and they are not listed anymore.

I use them on my 1:1 cars as well as my models... if I get a decent final finish on my paint I can work out any minor texture without resorting to sandpaper or polishing cloths. Plus the compound and polish don't leave any residue, so if you need to reshoot clear coat you don't have to worry about fisheyes or other paint issues.

I have Meguiar's 1 & 2 Mirror Glaze. I will look for the Ultimate the next time I go to the auto parts store.
