chris chabre Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) recently got a partial one in a collection and since I wasnt gonna do anything with it, I sold it. I swear I had the convertible boot in the box but its MIA. Ive torn apart my place, my friend who I also shipped stuff to has gone through that box, and nothing. Regardless... Im on the hunt for a convertible boot, were there any produced in resin? I see resin realm produced a kit, but it seems I cant email them. Thanks Edited April 24, 2023 by chris chabre
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 I can’t imagine that it would be too difficult to find a good substitute from a modern kit. Most top boots are pretty universal, so maybe check out the boot from the Revell ‘65/‘66 Impala kit for starters. I used a boot from the Revellogram ‘59 Impala for my ‘64 Bonneville, and after a little adjustment I think it fits, and looks better than the original. Steve
chris chabre Posted April 24, 2023 Author Posted April 24, 2023 thanks Steve. Its more the fact that I sold someone something and now its missing. Ill have to start searching for other options.
