Leica007 Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 I like the street rod look of yours. Clean with subtle changes, and a HP upgrade. What bumpers did you use? I started building the Revell kit about the time you posted yours. Did you run into any problems or have any tips for me? I'm taking the same path but it's going to have a 428 under the hood, and I did open the trunk. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
thatz4u Posted May 14, 2023 Author Posted May 14, 2023 Lei, bumpers were from Revell 48 Ford custom kit, this is the kit with the stock body suspension was a little fiddly, so take plenty of time...
Leica007 Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Thanks Al, mine is the stock kit. Still deciding on the bumpers. So far suspension is going good, but I've spent more time on mocking up this build more than any other model. Only mod to the frame is the transmission cross-member to mount the 428 block. I did have to move the radiator fwd about 2 mm and am adding an electric fan, instead of the stock fan blade. The body is in primer and looks pretty good. Hope I can can get the finish as good as yours.
