Geezerman Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 This car came about from bits and pieces and filled the time inbetween sessions with my "Flip of the bird to Revell" 49 Merc. I used an aftermarket (parts pac?) tube frame, lenghtened. The tub, seat, top and grill shell from the AlaCart, and a Nisson 2400c.c. engine. All told, I'm not real pleased with the finish result. Too high, too long, crappy homemade creamsickle color (1 Shot), But it's done, and will not qualify for a spot in my display case
chebbysteve Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) Well, it's different! I agree it's too long, and maybe the top is too low. Otherwise, it ain't bad. I like the wheels for sure. Where did they come from? steve Edited February 20, 2009 by chebbysteve
fordh8r Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I don't think it looks all that bad. Maybe if you did a little more weathering to "Rat" it up a little it might deter from the color some. Could you channel the body some and lower the body any? Either way I think it's cool.
Raul_Perez Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Actually it's kind of cool...the shape reminds me of the old slingshot dragsters from the 60s.
Nick F40 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 You got to love a rod with the 240Z engine in it, and with Webers that thing ought to run!
RodneyBad Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 It's definitely Different. I Love it.. I'll put that in my Display case.. Want my Addy?
george 53 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 THERE YOU ARE GEEZERMAN!!!! I thought you mighta left fer greener pastures, but they ain't none!
