This is a kit bash of the amt 1962 belair body, and some interior parts .Along the the revell soft seal 1957 Chevy pro mod . The paint is testors enamel with decals by slixx. I also used some 3-d printed wheels that I found on eBay. I had to cut the chassis plate apart to lengthen the wheel base , and there was a lot of trimming and filing to get it all to fit. This project was on my work bench way to long it’s definitely not my favorite era of drag cars to build. I really had to push through it. Overall it looks really good. Thanks for checking it out, mike IMG_1692.thumb.jpeg.4391f6974fd4ea6d46b6223c77e833f3.jpegIMG_1694.thumb.jpeg.914c5cd380f3e3d14f25bf9b292a70fa.jpegIMG_1693.thumb.jpeg.3af2cf9ad1cae5cb7ae40126bc3ad558.jpegIMG_1696.thumb.jpeg.a0b74ac54d6d83ddc3fa0aeebfb0f4d0.jpegIMG_1695.thumb.jpeg.1bd977200a9f23e7ce84c3a63efeb105.jpegIMG_1697.thumb.jpeg.7d4aa81d5c7bdb61e4c44e72e7d6e496.jpeg

Not my favorite drag car period either but you did great job on this one, particularly on the chassis mods. I believe Don dropped out of funny car racing in the late 60’s due to how crazy dangerous they became when supercharging was introduced, he was a devoted family man and had the good sense to know that the risks were just not worth it. I wish there were good kits available for Don’s “Eliminator I & II” Mercury funny cars (not that horrid AWB AMT kit!), that’s about the latest drag subjects I’d like to build.
