Armando Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Hi again Francois! Now it's all perfectly clear! I had imagined that the fuel pipes had to be connected to the two coming out of the carburetors but it wasn't clear to me where, because I saw that in some other kits those cables went around the engine and didn't stay on the left side of the car. I'm sure that your position is the right one, I've seen some old photos that clearly show that the cables run along the left side of the chassis. For the rest, I will connect the battery wires to the starter, as you suggest: by the way, I think there were two batteries in the old Bentleys but I'll see how to do it. Thanks a lot, for sure I'll follow you in your current and next projects. A.
François Posted July 6 Author Posted July 6 Glad I could help. As for the batteries, since my ref car was built in 2019, it only had one battery. I had done the 2 battery set up but decided to make it as my ref car. This is what it looked like 1
Armando Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Hi François! I've almost finished my modest version of the classic Blower and I have to thank you again for your tips and informations. I post here just a couple of images, even if it's still not complete. It was a wonderful six months trip and I really enjoyed the kit and the additional work required to move on from the standard kit. A bientot! A. 1
François Posted November 12 Author Posted November 12 Hello Armando, very glad to see your finished model! You did a fine job of it too. Since we last spoke, I finished the Hydra Coupe and have started a new project. You can follow it here. it's a rather personnal project since I've owned such a car for close to 20 years. good luck on your next build 1
