Ok, I managed to snag a Monogram 1959 Cadillac El Dorado Seville hardtop. I intend to build it laying frame on the ground, wire spoke rims and wide white walls, sort of a bomb style, and im unsure on the color i want. I was thinking a White top and rear deck between the fins, and a dark pink/pale red on the rest of the body with white trim. Other option was Metallick blac with white trim on the sides, and the roof. third option is a high gloss red/candy apple with white top. any other suggestions? i love bulding lowriders, but i was never good at matching colors, but would prefer to keep this a two or three color scheme, not including a white top. the white top is a must for this kit.

any input would be greatly appreciated!

my ideas:

1) dark pink/pale red with white top and trunk

2) Metallic black with white top and side trim

3) high gloss/candy apple red with white top

I'm partial to the pink, the white top will look good with it. A pink Caddy is a classic!

The Metallic Black would look okay, but I don't think it would match with the white trim and top.

Candy red is not my color. But I think it would look good with the white if you sprayed it over a silver base.

I love candies so I'd vote for #3, but I'd go with a pearl white base.
