Well I was at an antique store in the Poconos and found this old original Hubley kit of a 1932 Chevrolet Roadster. I got it for $20 and it is missing a few pieces and the instructions. I am wondering what to do with it. It has all of the exterior body pieces I would need to assemble it, but it is missing the spare tires and half of the engine, plus a few other minor pieces. Should I just keep it in box for just a neat collectors item or should I try to get this thing together? I think there are a few re-made versions of this kit I could buy and build, or I could use the parts in that kit as replacements for the missing parts of this one.

What would you do?

The value is not very high. These are common kits - take a look on Ebay. It isn't worth fussing over too much. I would try selling it for parts on Ebay or htorod it with some 1/20 parts.

MPC put out a whole mess of 1/20 scale Corvettes "back in the day" With one of those kits and some imagination, there's a real neat hot rod waiting to be born.
