Russell C Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 (edited) Always wondered what was in the pointy end of an old CRT television set. Now I know. And since I've been kicking around the idea of doing a jet car / hover car sorta like our MCM forum man Daxman has built, I have another victim right at hand for a second turbine-like engine to go in one of the currently unloved glue bomb bodies I acquired several years back …. atomicholiday Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Actually, that looks like it would make a perfect jet engine.? 1
Lunajammer Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 I have pieces of one too laying in wait for a project. I've been reluctant to go scavenging for more of them because if you don't know what you're doing you can get quite a shock from CRT tubes even from old TVs that have not been used for a while. I've watched videos on how to discharge them but still not in my comfort zone without know more about them.
