The Modeling Hermit Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I saw on another board that Auto World is looking for input on suggested rereleases. Has anybody heard from them, or do you have any information on this?
4BKT VET Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I saw on another board that Auto World is looking for input on suggested rereleases. Has anybody heard from them, or do you have any information on this? Are you kidding me. I haven't heard that name for about 30 years. They used to be KING of modeling supplies. Man, they had it all, from the grain of rice light bulbs to the super small hinges, threaded hardware, super small chain, glad hands, etc. I think the last catalog I got had some 250+ pages. I still have several sheets of license plates and AW decals. I think these guys started it all in the mail order biz.
RJWood Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Here is there web address, http://www.autoworldhobby.com

Terry Sumner Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 By sheer coincidence over the weekend I wrote an email to them asking if there were any updates on the upcoming releases of the Munsters car, the Double Dragster and the 25 T kits. Here's what I received back yesterday.... ----- Original Message ----- From: John Greczula To: tsumner@ct.metrocast.net Cc: sales@round2corp.com Sent: Monday, February 23, 2009 8:49 AM Subject: Re: AutoWorld.com Website Contact Results Terry, No updates at this time, other than we've had to push the release date of the Munsters kits back to later in the year. We have a new web site dedicated to the model kits. Please check out http://www.round2models.com for new and updates as they happen. Custom Hearse Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I e-mailed John this morning and asked him about it. Here is his reply.... From: John Greczula <john@autoworldcatalog.com> To: <customhearse@V8email.com> Subject: Re: suggestions Date: Wed 02/25/09 11:08 AM We're always interested in what people want to see reissued. But like I always say, no promises. It's not like we don't already have a million ideas of our own, we just want to let everybody know we do take outside feedback into consideration.
