GOTH KUSTOMS Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 (edited) YEPPERZ, got her done, woo woo, and Yea it only took less then a month, of sanding, filling, and more sanding, and more filling, and primer, six coats, of paint, one redo on the cab, 3 coats of clear, and more sanding, whaa, whaa, whaa, and digging thru the parts box for some really wide tires for the rear, but here she is ready to hit the curb(side) that is, and OK there's a lot of pic's but I like to show my work, and Yea most people could of done a snapfast in, what? a few days, but I'm so not like most people, and here's a box shot, what like I was supposed to do it like they say , NOT. Hope you guys like her, if not oh well ... SOME OUTSIDE SHOTS TOO AND PLUMNUTS, this one's for you Edited February 23, 2009 by unforgiven

dryvr12 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I like the paint and the fact that you decided against the mirrors. I would have done the same.
GOTH KUSTOMS Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Sharp dually!! That's the way I like em! Clean, not over done and sets just right.Did those wheels come with the kit? They really set it off. Thanx, yea the wheels came with the kit, but it didn't have any tire's, so the rear's were riped from a '69 Ford Falcon Modified, then sanded to make them even, because they were higher along the edge's then the middle. By the way if anyone has the '69 Falcon modified kit, you may be disapointed, the fit to the whole kit, is well ######, but it's got a set of killer fattys. Thanx everyone, I had a blast with this lil kit, wish I had about 6 more of'em, OH yea, may be snapfast, but you get the chance to grab a few, do it, not alot of options, well none really, but once you start on this lil kit, ideas will hit you like bricks, and it would be kinda easy to turn this from curbside, to street side, it's fast and simple really, and you see what you can turn it into, so get a chance to grab up 2 or 6 do it....
plumnuts Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 hay bro thanks for the pick of the trucks assets. looks good from all directions. I see you decided to go without the side pipes. I will keep an eye open for this kit and maybe match it with my verticlly challenged kit and have a body dropped truck to tow a future build thats in my head.hehehehehe. ( the future build will be wicked) I'v got the kit already and will start it when I get one off the bench. keep an eye open for this one dude.

Your welcome bro, I just had to give you that shot of the tail lights, and never worry brother, I will always keep an eye for what ever you build, like I said, wish I had like 6 more of these, yea the pipes would of looked good but only if I could of chromed them, I have the spaz chroming set up, but no lacquer thinner, so it will sit till i get tired of hearing it scream at me, to put a blown 454 BBC in it,

fordh8r Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Looks sharp! I think I would still find some sorta mirrors to put on it for the sake of that completed touch. It looks clean but appears a little 'off' without the mirrors, to me, that is. Nonetheless, nice job!

Man I totaly agree, I think some rod mirror's, would put it right whare it needs to be, but the bummer part of it is I dont have any, sept off my '49 merc. and I plan in useing them once I get it back on the shelf....
fordh8r Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Time to scour the parts boxes to see what you have floatin' around. Maybe a trip to a billet parts vendor's website or something.

Thats the sad part Fordh8r, I dont build rod'z, or havent, yet, so I know I dont have any in the parts box, the 2 I did have I traded off, I would ask on here, but alot of people do build rod'z so, but I will get something sooner or later, but like you implied, it would set it whare it needs to be, the finishing touch.....
RodneyBad Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Mirror are soo over rated Looks smooth as one can be. Looks Awesome.. Great Job on the tail end.
