JerseeJerry55
Hello everyone hope all are well. I received a Moebius 1970 Ford F100 4x4 in a trade and was wondering who has built one of these. If so what were your experiences and observations with the build? I’ve really not heard any negative comments in regard to the build.
Repstock
I fixed a lot of shape issues on mine, but it went together just fine. The hardest part for me was the windshield installation.

Repstock
It installs from the outside, and is kind of a tight fit. Don't want to screw up the paint trying to get it in. Careful sanding on the windshield edges solves the problem.
bobss396
Glass is one of the very first things I look at, in final assembly it may be too late to have to do some surgery. We had one guy in the club, he would paint himself into corners with stuff like glass, he saved that for last.
into the blue
The windshield installs from the inside. The instructions show it looks like it goes in from the outside, but the side note says inside. I heard about the glass issue so I test fitted mine. The trick to installing it appears to be that you first have to lose every last bit of your patience, and then it snaps right in. And I mean in. I thought I might not get it back out. No other problems the way I built mine. It went so well I had to screw up the paint job just to have something go wrong.
horsepower
Great to hear about that, because as you know the first thing is to toss the instructions in the Circular File but then when something goes wrong and doesn't fit like we THINK it should we end up in the garbage can with our feet hanging out the top hoping that the cat litter was bagged BEFORE being tossed in the dumpster.
