Mittagskind Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 This is my way to create rusty areas on bodywork and other metallic parts. Actually I only use brushes, cheap cosmetic colors and for fixing a liquid, also used to fix gold leaf foil. Maybe, another weak glue would be working too. 2

No, for weathering I didn't use Vallejo so far. I think the advantage of cosmetic color is its powder consistency, similar to pigment colors. This way you can also give the rust a realistic rough surface. 1
