This build was a painting experiment.

Based on the Aoshima kit, I set out to create a fictional Livery, based on the video game series I played when I was younger. There’s some Ken Block influence as well.

 I painted the Skull camo design with Vallejo white, silver, gunmetal, and metallic black acrylics using some templates I made from masking tape.

 The sublime green is from Splash Paint and again, made random designs from masking tape.

To finish it off, I plastered the body with decals that I sourced from eBay some time ago.

 I experimented with clear coats and consider that a failure. Know now which brands I’ll be using moving forward.

 The wing is from my parts box, but the kit is otherwise box stock. This isn’t as detailed as I would normally build.
