OH! I really want to find some PE - F O R D letter for the hood. They disappeared many sandings ago.

The photo etch kit from Model car garage would make a world of difference for the grill too. A little late now but I always use super gloss Mod Podge to install clear lenses. That way they don’t fog. The master cylinder for a disk brake 1966 mustang.

I use Molotow through an airbrush all the time with good results. I usually wait 48-72 hours and 2K clear. Just lightly first coat to seal and let dry a bit then wet coat. Looses very minimal shine with practice and holds up great to handling. Molotow otherwise does not like to be touched much.

We're going to call this one done. I spent additional time learning and trying different things. I have a mental list a mile long of flubs and things I know I can and will improve on (the finish). I enjoy that anyone's skill level can go up with practice. It's great to be back at an activity I can focus on clear headed. So for now, Cool Mustang. ...more kits to conquer.

*Any constructive criticisms encouraged. Be kind. For instance, "Cal, you forgot the door locks."

Cheers,

Cal

I'm torn. I like going street classic look but then I thought hot rod. Any opinion? I like the purple. I like the combo on the one with red stripe tires.  Where can I buy red stripe tires. I'm considering trying to lower the stance, but I have no idea what that entails. Would i have to do extensive mods to use drag slicks?

My daughter wants every car purple when a purple car crosses the block during mecum auctions is the only time she looks up from her switch to look. :) I have had good luck getting pad printed tires on eBay.
