Hey, I forget who was driving but he was pushing him into the wall and he kept on coming over so the Ian had to lock em up and turn and just hit the rear end of the Lizard, I don't I don't think the Porsche should have been racing like that that close to the finish, i know it was for podium but still, I don't know if he tried to do an 07 again or what but...

I think Ferrari is going to put up a good fight this year, but those RSR's are fast.

 nothing can beat the Rolex guys

I figured it was somewhat known over there but yeah, nothing tops the 24 at LeMans.

Well during the race Dorosey and all them said that the end of last year, they just went and said that which wasn't really press like of them, and they even spoke with Wolfgang Ullrich and he even said that they weren't all really sure. Now they have been doing better and they want to prove the R15 more, I bet even more after this. They want to do more races. Panoz might get in next year, he said they have ideas and have been thinking about it, all he needs is the ok and the team and they'll build it. I have heard Porsche was and I really hope they do, they have won with the RS Spyders and have great success and great teams so all they have to do is build it, but they would have to make sure they win, if Porsche builds a car, he wants it to win. :P I want Ferrari to get back into that.

I don't think he braked at all, he was awlfully smug about it after the fact.

I am not sure about Le Mans but the series is going all coupes.

There will be a couple RS Spyders at Le Mans, and a load of TDIs 9 in all. 3 R15s 2 R10s and 4 Pugs.

The Porsche GT2 is a little skimpy again only 3 cars against 8 or 9 430s.

###### Ferraris, ###### Panoz. Dont they have brakes on the Panoz? :P

That was one of the most competitive P1 races I have seen from ALMS in a long time. The GT2 class is always a good show, and even tough it was another Audi victory, that was a great race to watch. That was like watching a 12 hour sprint race. (OK 10 hours... had to brake for 2 hrs of taxi cab practice) I think I'll send Speed TV a nasty gram.

ALAN MCNISH IS A BEAST!!! That guy can drive a race car!!! ;);)

I don't know, i'm not going to say much because apparently differences here but I think the Porsche almost ran Ian into the wall that jutted out, and even Dorsey thinks the same, I mean what the hell was Ian supposed to do run into the wall at 140-150? Or could have the Porsche got off the door of Ian and saved his but instead of both of them almost taking each other out, the Panoz was keeping ahead up to that corner, the Lizard was brakign later but around that corner Ian kept his line. In the replay when they shown the back end of the cars, it showed the Lizard contacting him and when Ian realized that the wall was coming and the Porsche seemed to keep going, that he tried to brake which since the Lizard was still turning from the side hits, Ian got into it and spun it into the wall which sent him flying away from the wall. I think they (Lizards) had radio audio in the coverage and the crew and driver even said that it might have been their fault, they were running hard.

Yeah the porsche is going to have to compete against a lot in that class. The RS Spyders and R10's are going to be privateer so they should be good, but the R15 teams should dominate, the Pugs will want to do good in their home country though. The coupes just look way better.

Tommy, I tried many, many, many times and so have thousand others, they just don't seem to get the message, we are all just waiting for The Racing Network. McNish is my hero, not only have I always wanted to have a Scottish accent but they can drive, and he is no exception. :P

Nick, that move he (McNish) put on the 908 earlier in the afternoon was phenominal!!!

It was a classic crossover that you usually will only see on dirt. It was a shame that he did not have some better equiptment when he was giving F1 a try.

Do you know if Audi will be running the full season of ALMS? I am wondering what the field will look like at Lime Rock Park? A few of us Philly Boyz have gone up there a couple of times for the ALMS race. I'd like to go up and see a race on the new configuration. That's a nice place to see a race. There is not a bad seat in the house. Of course with Thunderbolt now open, and the Grand Am guys coming there, there is not such an urgent need to go to Conn. Especially in this economy.

BTW, Did you ever get your room cleaned? :P

The lizard had more than a half a car length on the Panoz e.g. right of way.

ohh yes it was, great use of the Lizard too. One of the greateast I have seen in a long time. they said they want to run more but like Chris said some but probably not all, they mainly wanted this and LeMans and that's it. They want to focus on the european circuit more and DTM. I hope they race there too. That's seet that you guys go up :o I never been to Lime Rock, my dad has a while back but I always wanted to especially now! Yeah the Thunderbolt they say is nmice, needs some revision but this year they said it should be fixed and hopefully we can see more airborne cars ;)
