Hondamatic Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 (edited) Idea/rant For many years now, Steve Magnante has wanted Slixx to offer decals to replicate his Wilshire Shaker. With all the first gen nova kits out now, and him being in recovery from brain surgery, I think now would be a good a time as any. Maybe offer some proceeds to help his medical bills? I would buy a few sets Just a thought https://youtu.be/jkD15gnbbPk?si=CPmB3fJ_vvlS6_zD Edited January 31, 2024 by Hondamatic 2
stavanzer Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Hear, Hear! A great idea. I hope somebody steps up to get it done. 1
wrenchr Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 I think slixx or an ebay person makes those.

In a video that Steve did on Youtube he mentions that BadHabit Motorsports use to do the Wilshire Shaker decals, but it looks like they are no longer doing decals that I can tell. I looked on eBay and 1 seller was offering a decal sheet that says it was from Yesteryears decals, but I don't think they are around anymore either. Like was suggested above, it would be nice if Slixx would come up with a sheet. Steve A. 1

I haven't tried installing them yet, so can't say for sure how they are when trying to put them on. The only think to me, was when looking at pics of the real car, the "502Much" lettering for the from air dam, the coloring looks a little light to me. But I couldn't find too many really good pics of the car online to say for sure. Steve A. 1

If you want to find the decals go the Southern motor sports Southern Motorsport Hobbies (smhracing.com) that where yesteryear decals are found ,the colors are a bit faded from the original decal sheet . 1
Hondamatic Posted May 25, 2024 Author Posted May 25, 2024 So it looks like Steve is selling his home, cars and many other things to pay his bills off, I really hope one of these decal manufacturers or model companies can help him out. He's done so much for the hobby https://youtu.be/197TLjLsp08?si=0RVP8vlBHuMa4f8K
