Back when I was a kid in the late 50's my dad drove one of these little rigs delivery rolls of paper to the local newspaper printer, it was rather cold & wet in winter but he did not complain and got the job done. In the 60's it needed a new motor so it was fitted with a motor of that era rather than have it's original motor repaired.

It takes a real man to drive a truck like that! :P While he may not have complained during the wet season I'd imagine they must have done something to keep the paper dry. :P

Nonetheless, your build looks great! :P

Nice truck. Believe it or not, we have a Mack similar to that one on display at our main fire station. It was one of our fire trucks for many years. They restored it and built it's on little room on the side of the main fire house.

Fordh8r the black roll on top of the cab represents the tarp he use to cover the paper & FlatbedKW I'm not sure what motor he used but I think it was some sart of small diesel motor out of a them Jap truck but as I said I'm not sure I was only a kid about 8-10 yrs old at the time and I wasn't into trucks then.
