Terry Sumner Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Hi Guys, Went to the MassCar show yesterday and instead of taking still photos, I decided to do a little video. My wife bought me this tiny little digital video camera called the Flip Video last week so this was it's Maiden Voyage. There are 2 videos about 7 minutes long each. Quality suffers greatly after Youtube's "processing", whatever that is, but they give you a different perspective on the models with the moving view around the models. I also found that the camera doesn't focus well up close, so next time I will have to remember to keep the camera at least 18" away from the subject. Anyway...on to the links! Foxer Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Unfortunately, I had to miss the show this year, so thanks for making my morning! Nice job on the videos . you must lay down some mean BMF with that steady hand!
bobss396 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I was thinking of going as late as Thursday evening, but wound up with an awful cold that got worse by the hour. I had a horrible cough that no one would have appreciated. I hung out at home with a big box of tissues and worked on a couple of models. I did like the videos, a clever concept I hope will catch on. Terry Sumner Posted March 23, 2009 Author Posted March 23, 2009 I'm planning on attending the Wings n Wheels show this coming Sunday in Chicopee, Mass. I'm going to try this again as I've figured out how to attach a closeup lens to the camera so I can get better, closer views. Plus, they have a bit better lighting there. The show usually attracts a fair amount of car models in addition to the airplanes and armor, etc.
