flatheadgary Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 i have been trying to finish this for awhile with no luck. thought i would see it finished this way faster.
Crazy Ed Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Gary What a GREAT Pair of Projects. Good Luck with the 1:1 and Nice execution on the Scale one. Ed
Dragline Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 That 1:1 is killer! I know one thing about race cars if I know nothing else. All it takes is time and money. My stepfather and I went Super Gas racing in the 80s/90's. I'm glad it wasn't my dough, because i watched him sink a LOT into that car. All I did was wrench.. The scale one was a tad easier and less costly I'm certain................ They are both sweeeeeet.. Bob
noname Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Both neat projects. Thats why alot of us build models, cheaper and easier. We just don't get to race them.
flatheadgary Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 ha!! your preaching to the choir here boys! that's why i got back into models a couple years ago. it usually takes me about a year to finish a full scale car and i have built about 30 1/25th scale cars in 2 years. besides, i have my flathead powered bantam to race, if i feel the need for speed. look up my post if you want to see it. thanks for the replies
