1970 F-100 Custom Cab 4x4

      This is my first build in around a year, so i’m pretty rusty and only had almost empty, sputtering paint cans to utilize. About everything went wrong with this build, from fitment issues to paint spills, which i remedied with varying success. Overall, I’m proud enough of this build to post it.

      The main fitment issue is pretty obvious: the cab and the bed do not line up. Since I give a story to all the kits I build, i’m pretending this truck got in a little accident back in the day and bent its frame or body. The hood also had some fitment issues, which can be explained from another accident close after the first.

Great looking distressed finish. Your mentioned fitment issues with the bed seems to be somewhat common with others who have built this kit. The interior and engine are clean looking.
