If using the die-cast forks for your chopper

I wanted the look of chrome on the tubes, I split the fork in two and soaked the part I wanted to stay chrome in 'Red Devil' paint and varnish remover , once frre of paint {about 1/2 hour } I started with 220 grit getting rid of all seems and pits .then too 400 then 600 then right to the polishing set 1800 on up,,,this is how it turned out....
