chris coller Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 (edited) Jeff, the important part is you are still building. Good to see you getting back in to the hobby. Now hurry up and finish this. I always enjoy your builds. Top notch stuff! Edited April 6, 2009 by chris coller
Foxer Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I can see thru the hood louvers!!! Where might that hood be from?
cotto Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Looks like you do great work man but you need to get a better camera.
Foxer Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 The hood is actually from the amt kit, but I cut out measured sections and added in some plastruct N-scale "stairs" to represent open louvers... This is a "Lyle Willits techinique", that he was kind enough to share, and I decided to give it a try on this particular project.. You sure did the technique fine from here. N-scale stairs.. that Lyle is a sneaky one. Now I'm feeling sorry for that gorgeous shift linkage that will get buried in the tunnel.
Raul_Perez Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 I like the way you reshaped the back edge of the hood. Are you planning on doing the same to the bottom edges of the doors? Later,
