I haven't been faced with this yet but was wondering, if I screw up a paint job on a 3d printed body, how would I strip it? Do the usual products, purple pond, oven cleaner, brake fluid, Detol, etc., haveĀ  an effect on the resin? Or is it easier to just print another body?

Has anyone stripped a 3d printed body?

do you use the alcohol resin or water washable? i use the alcohol wash and its as easy as putting it in a tank for an hour and scrubbing with a toothbrush. i use my waste alcohol from washing the prints too. if the alcohol has lots of resin bits in it you can leave them to settle on the bottom before starting. dont leave small parts for too long either as they will not last too long. i forgot a set of wheels and they absorbed the alcohol and came apart but that took a few days
