Vintage Tin Olds Friction 1959

Picked this up in 2022 at our local vintage junk shop for $60 bucks. It is an original 1959 Olds 88 friction toy. Went and took some more nice shots of it. It actually still works, but it sounds atrocious.

I was 6 in '59 and would have ate worms to have a tin type like this !

Worms have a lot of Protin but are best if dipped in Chocolate.

If you ever take it apart probably you will find that the tin material is painted with rejected soda caps on the inside...
