Gary Chastain Posted November 13, 2024 Author Posted November 13, 2024 Getting the interior together today 1
Rockford Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 How do I know this is going to turn out spot on? The tape line sounds great, doesn't have to be hi-tech to work. Bricklayers use a piece of string. 2

Gary Chastain Posted November 14, 2024 Author Posted November 14, 2024 I can’t flipping believe it. Glueing front fender to hood and it slipped messing up the paint. I could scream, time to quit today. 1
Biggu Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 NNNOOOO !!!! Doesn't look too bad........ a light scuff, and a light shot of paint and back in business..... those kids of accidents are infuriating , especially when you're trying to be so careful.... take 5 and then have a look at it when your blood pressure is back to normal.... it will be a smooth repair.....
Jürgen M. Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Don't worry about it! It won't affect the result of your build! 1
BK9300 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 I watched you do a different kind of fender repair on one of your previous builds and all turned out fine - this will too, I'm sure! 1

Thanks guys, it is very repairable, repaint the one side of the hood and repaint the fender, not really a big deal I guess. I just hate a redo because of operator error 2
