Got the front panel together, will need some finish work, but all the radius surfaces are now there. Seems weird to be building from the top down or up side down.

Archer Rivets? And from the Archer website? That's where I was looking....

Yes, Archer rivets. No, I got them of EBay. I had heard that Archer was not making them anymore, no clue if that’s true.

I went to the Archer website and it looks to me that they are up and running as the header says Under New Management so I assumed things are operational but I know what happens when one ‘ assumes’   What size did you buy ? It is so hard to know what size things are when all a guy can do is look on line instead of holding the package in your hand…..

I am not hampered by matching existing rivet spacing on a truck cab, which can be a challenge. I bought “0” scale which is close to 1:25 model scale 7/8 dia rivet. If you look at the sheets I bought, there are several spacing options on the sheet.

That box looks just perfect! I'm amazed how precise and even everything looks!

I'll keep watching!

Thanks guys, might be stealing some ideas from you guys. Gonna try  the mud guards that Steve built (the half round fenders in front of the rear drive wheels). The more accurate I build the structure, the easier it is to finish.

That's true! Accuracy pays off!

I don't think anyone will see it as stealing If you take over ideas! I've done it and I'd be happy to see someone borrowing mine!

We're all learning from eachother. That's why we share our builds here!

Keep going! Fun to watch!

Door frame built, doors cut and fitted. Next up hinges and final fit of door frame to the box. And USPS did not deliver any parts? today, even if the web says delivery Friday

quick mock-up to check the fit of the box to see if height works.

Great proportions, Gary - the wood treatment inside the van body will look awesome!

Thanks, I may stretch those fuel tanks out another 1/4 or 1/2 in length and use three tank straps on each.
