How do I know this is going to turn out spot on? The tape line sounds great, doesn't have to be hi-tech to work. Bricklayers use a piece of string.

Progress today, got the chassis frame length corrected, added last crossmember. Polished the aluminum exhaust stacks with Simichrome, assembled and installed. Interior installed, all glass installed, next firewall, visor and lastly will be the mirrors. IMG_2143.thumb.jpeg.8c67a4d77f74c709dde7f99d7fc22971.jpeg

NNNOOOO !!!!  Doesn't look too bad........ a light scuff, and a light shot of paint and back in business..... those kids of accidents are infuriating , especially when you're trying to be so careful....  take 5 and then have a look at it when your blood pressure is back to normal.... it will be a smooth repair.....

I watched you do a different kind of fender repair on one of your previous builds and all turned out fine - this will too, I'm sure!

Don't worry about it! It won't affect the result of your build!

Thanks guys, it is very repairable, repaint the one side of the hood and repaint the fender, not really a big deal I guess. I just hate a redo because of operator error
