BK9300 Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Procrastination doesn't seem to have any place in your world! A 'problem encountered' very quickly turns into a 'problem solved' - great progress! 1 1
Jürgen M. Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 I just applied the clear coat. The decals yesterday evening! I'll post some pics shortly! Don't want to enter the workshop now and put dust in the air till it's dry! I used the water based clear coat! Put on two layers. Works great with the air brush. The Thermo King is in print at this moment. Still not sure about the color of it. I thought of grey, like the trailer or even black. White wouldn't really fit well. Or I'll make it silver or chrome. Suggestions welcome! 1
Biggu Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Ok ,…… its all well and fine to have a beer truck ……now …. What about the BEER????????????????? 1
Jürgen M. Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 (edited) ?? I'll add that as soon as the fridge is mounted! Wouldn't want it to get warm! ? The trailer is slowly coming to its final assembly! Tail lights, marker lights, fridge, air line connectors, air lines below the trailer and rear door handle will follow! The large ads on the sides and in the rear are actually original ads. The small decals on the truck doors and at the front of the trailer are selfmade but show the actual address and phone no. of the Arrow Co.! Edited October 31, 2024 by Jürgen M. 3
Biggu Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Thats pretty darn cool!!! It is turning out really well , JM ! Your vision has come to light beautifully….. Jeff 1
Jürgen M. Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 By the way, I think a black fridge looks pretty good! I held it to the trailer after printing and since it's black filament I got a good idea of what it would look like! 1
Rockford Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Looks great! Must be very proud of what you've done and more to come! 1
Jürgen M. Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 Thanks Steve! It's not finished yet though and after that it'll take a while till I start my next project! No more space! 1

Jürgen M. Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 Thanks Gary! I wanted it to be at least a little bit authentic. I actually have no idea what the real trucks looked like! 1
