RJWood Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Model roundup and Tower hobbies, have these listed as in stock. Just wondering if someone can offer any insight on these kits. They are called super snap kits. How is the detail on them. Does the Merc have an engine? They both look cool, just want to know if they are workable and worth the effort to start begging my wife for yet more kits to add to the stash. Thanks Ron
scummy Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) G,day , If their the ones i remember they use to be MPC kits . The merc has no motor and is basically a curbside car but can be painted up to be a neat lookin merc , they are a great kit for young modellers on the way up as when finished they look good , cheer's Edited April 14, 2009 by scummy
BigGary Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I'm glad to hear the '33 Willys is coming back. Is it like the K.S. Pittman drag car, or like 80's street rod re-issue? I just traded for the Willys street rod kit. I'm looking forward to the Ford monster motor in that kit. Gary

Not a coupe. The one you are talking about is the AMT kit.
